Camp Registration Information

Our caretakers are called 'AnamCaras' which is a Gaelic term for soul friend and guide. Before filling out the registration form, please read through this information so our AnamCaras will be able to better assist your child.

Here are some definitions and terms to be familiar with:

Sprites

Young campers: Ages 7 - 9

Stars

Pre-teens: Cairdeas (ages 10 - 12)

For Sprites and Stars, nonverbal autistic and potty challenged are welcome. Biters, screamers and stimmers are ok as well. The ratio for these kids will be 1 to 1, with 1 AnamCara per camper.

Warriors

Teens: (ages 13-17)

Griffins

Teens / Young Adults: (ages 18 - 21)

High-functioning autistic teens, PDD/NOS, ADHA and Aspbergers syndrome will have a 1 to 3 ratio. 1 AnamCara for every 3 campers.

Age is not the ultimate deterining factor in comprising a camp group. So please elaborate on the your child's level of autism and function on the registration form. We realize and respect that every autistic child is unique.

Other notes of interest:

Girls will have their own room.

All meals are included.

- Please specify if your child is on a certain diet and bring his/her speciality foods/drinks to substitute or augment

our menu.
