AnamCara is not a Hospital,
School or Church...
It is a Healing Therapy through Play and Nature.
A Nature Retreat for Children
and young Adults with Autism.
Welcome to the site for the upcoming Anam Cara Autism Camp. The camp is currently under construction with an official open date set for the fall of 2013.
If you are interested in donating to the camp please click here. We are a charitable organization therefore we could always use donated construction materials, "boots on the ground" as well as monetary donations.
Nothing compares to the pride of knowing you helped make a difference for even one child.
The Autism Awareness Ribbon:
The puzzle pattern of this ribbon reflects the mystery and complexity of autism.
The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of those living with this disorder.
The brightness of the ribbon signals hope - hope through research and increasing awareness in people like you.
Although we don't have a picture of our new family yet we do have evidence (all around) of where our little beaver family has been. Some have even seen them swimming away. We have large, medium and small sets of beaver tack imprints on our Wildlife 101 boards.
We will have pictures soon... we hope!!!!
